Why Your Film Needs a Storyboard

While the storyboarding process is an additional step in the interim between producing a submission or shooting script and the first day of filming, its development can save you time and money in the long run.

A clear and well-executed storyboard will address what is often lost in translation when stakeholders try to visualise a script or other text deliverable but just can’t see your vision. To that end, we offer a range of storyboarding options at various outputs.

Depending on your specific needs, budget and project scope, this may include:

• B/W, Greyscale or Full colour illustrations
• Thumbnailed or production-ready storyboards*

*Please note that we are unable to produce photo storyboards.

A Quick Note on Pricing

Our pricing is structured according to product category as this helps us plan an efficient approach to the work, minimise the potential need for revisions at a later stage and prepare a more accurate quote.

As a rule, categories are divided into:

Storyboards: Illustrated static panels with notes/camera directions

Animatics: Animated panels that reflect dialogue, Foley and pacing

Our animatic design services are available at an additional cost for all storyboards should you require timed animation for specific scenes or sequences, or for your project as a whole. This service is also available for crowdfunding campaign videos.
